A notebook-sized implementation of CoreXY with a work area of 4x6". The structure is comprised of three nesting components waterjet cut from 3/16" aluminum. Assembly time for this prototype was quite short at about 45 minutes, once all of the parts were fabricated. This basic design could be extended into different materials such as plywood and acrylic with some slight modifications.
A flexible fabric-based implementation of CoreXY. This design can scale to cover an entire wall, and might also be able to conform to certain curved surfaces. Structure is obtained by stretching Bot-of-the-Cloth across a large table. This was the first version of CoreXY and was mainly intended as a proof-of-concept.
